Yun Kim, a 15-year-old from Chicago, USA, is a new student at Gen.G Global Academy. He's currently a 10th grade student attending the Academy, and his eagerness to learn both academics and esports can be seen through his enthusiasm and his never dissipating smile.

"I joined GGA because I want to become a professional player," Yun said, in an interview conducted by one of the students. "But I am also interested in attending university, and I thought GGA offers the right program for that balance."

Gen.G Global Academy, or GGA, is an academy where students are provided with a unique opportunity to pursue both their academic studies and esports aspirations. Yun highlighted this distinctive balance as one of the school’s greatest strengths, explaining that mornings are dedicated to academic learning while afternoons focus on esports training. “We also get to learn from former professional players and coaches, which is a very special experience,” he added.

Looking ahead, Yun expressed his determination to grow as both a student and a player. His current goal is to become the best Valorant player and challenge himself at the highest level of competition. At the same time, he hopes to prepare for university, further broadening his opportunities for the future. With his passion and dedication, Yun is ready to make the most of his journey at GGA.
